The forum consists of two poster sessions and we also plan short presentation slots in the main conference program.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Submission Guidelines<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>3-page contribution + references<span style=\"font-size: revert; color: initial; font-family: -apple-system, BlinkMacSystemFont, &quot;Segoe UI&quot;, Roboto, Oxygen-Sans, Ubuntu, Cantarell, &quot;Helvetica Neue&quot;, sans-serif;\">&nbsp;(IEEE format), Sole student author<\/span><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Proposals should have the following structure:\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Title;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>A 150- to 200-word abstract;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Planned contribution and relevance;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>State of the art and problem domain;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Originality and related work;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Research questions and main challenges;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Research methodology and overall approach.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Awards Program<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><em>SRDS Ph.D. Forum Award: All Ph.D. Forum attending students presenting at the poster sessions and at the short presentations in the main track will be considered&nbsp; for the &#8220;SRDS Ph.D. Forum Award&#8221;.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Evaluation Criteria<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Relevance to SRDS (25%)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Research quality (25%)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Methodology soundness (20%)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Presentation clarity (20%)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Innovation potential (10%)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Deadline<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">TBD (AoE)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Submission<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Please send your proposal to Andrea Bondavalli (<a href=\"mailto:andrea.bondavalli@unifi.it\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">andrea.bondavalli@unifi.it<\/a>), and you should receive a reply acknowledging your submission.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Important Dates<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Notification: TBD<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>PhD Forum Author Registration: TBD<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Chair<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">For more info, please contact Andrea Bondavalli (andrea.bondavalli@unifi.it)<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>SRDS 2026 PhD Forum Call for Contributions The SRDS PhD Forum provides a friendly environment for PhD students to present&nbsp;early-stage or ongoing work&nbsp;on reliable and distributed systems, receive feedback from peers and experts, and discuss career challenges.
