The easiest way to reach the SRDS 2026 conference area is by underground.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Rome is served by an underground, which has three lines: Line A (orange), Line B\/B1 (blue) and Line C (green). Lines A and B\/B1 cross at the main railway station, Termini, while Lines A and C cross at San Giovanni station. The underground is open from 5:30 am until 11:30 pm every day, except for Friday and Saturday night, when the last train departs at 01:30 am. Underground Line A from Sunday to Thursday closes at 21:00 (from 21:00 until 23:30 the service will be replaced by bus).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A map of the underground can be downloaded from <a href=\"https:\/\/www.atac.roma.it\/docs\/default-source\/mappe-tpl\/mappa-metro-e-ferrovie-metropolitane.pdf?sfvrsn=e1e83890_10\">this link<\/a>. Tickets can be purchased at the vending machines, at newspaper stands inside the stations, by app, or by SMS. From Termini station, take <strong>Line A<\/strong> (the orange one) in the direction Anagnina. Get off at <strong>Manzoni <\/strong>(after two stops). To reach the conference venue, follow Viale Manzoni until the intersection with Via Ludovico Ariosto, then turn right at number 25.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading has-text-align-center\">Surroundings<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Many sights are located in the surrounding area:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Archbasilica_of_Saint_John_Lateran\">Archbasilica of Saint John Lateran<\/a>: 9 minutes (750 m) on foot;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Santa_Maria_Maggiore\">Basilica of Saint Mary Major<\/a>: 11 minutes (850 m) on foot;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Trevi_Fountain\">Trevi Fountain<\/a>: 3 underground stops starting from Vittorio Emanuele station (direction <em>Battistini<\/em>);<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Spanish_Steps\">Spanish Steps<\/a>: 4 underground stops starting from Vittorio Emanuele station (direction <em>Battistini<\/em>);<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/St._Peter%27s_Basilica\">St. Peter&#8217;s Basilica<\/a>: 7 underground stops starting from Vittorio Emanuele station (direction <em>Battistini<\/em>);<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Colosseum\">Colosseum<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Roman_Forum\">Roman Forum<\/a>: 1 underground stop from Vittorio Emanuele station to Termini station (line A). Then take line B (direction <em>Laurentina<\/em>) for 2 stops;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Circus_Maximus\">Circus Maximus<\/a>: 1 underground stop from Vittorio Emanuele station to Termini station (line A).
