SRDS 2025 PhD Forum
Call for Contributions
The SRDS PhD Forum provides a friendly environment for PhD students to present early-stage or ongoing work on reliable and distributed systems, receive feedback from peers and experts, and discuss career challenges. The forum consists of two poster sessions and we also plan short presentation slots in the main conference program.
Submission Guidelines
- 3-page contribution + references (IEEE format), Sole student author
- Proposals should have the following structure:
- Title;
- A 150- to 200-word abstract;
- Planned contribution and relevance;
- State of the art and problem domain;
- Originality and related work;
- Research questions and main challenges;
- Research methodology and overall approach.
- Submit via [HotCRP/Link] by [Deadline, e.g., July 15, 2025]
Awards Program
SRDS Ph.D. Forum Award: All Ph.D. Forum attending students presenting at the poster sessions and at the short presentations in the main track will be considered for the “SRDS Ph.D. Forum Award”.
Evaluation Criteria
- Relevance to SRDS (25%)
- Research quality (25%)
- Methodology soundness (20%)
- Presentation clarity (20%)
- Innovation potential (10%)
